Thursday and Friday, the 1 and 2 of August respectively – trips were organized to Castelo Velho da Zimbreira, with the purpose of taking GPS coordinates, and to view and photograph the archaeological excavations coordinated by Dr. Davide Delfino, in order to use these information for the Time Maps project.
Details of developing an AR application designed to bring out the Bronze Age fortifications of Castelo Velho da Zimbreira based on location details were discussed. The application displays a 3D reconstruction of the castro walls designed following Dr. Davide Delfino’ indications. The AR application was implemented by eng. Livia Ştefan.
