The Tilley Timber Project is a multidisciplinary project that involves a number of archaeological and scientific-based elements, three of these will be dendrochronology, building survey (elevations and plans) and 3D imagery. It is hoped that the results for these and others elements within the project will provide a unique database which will set a bench-mark for the study of ancient buildings and the communities they housed.
