There are several archaeological sites in the Taga area, dated from the Early Neolithic to the Roman period, out of which only the Dacian and the Neolithic ones are going to be discussed. The Late Neolithic site is a fortified settlement, and has been interdisciplinary investigated since 1995. This is where an Ethnoarcheological Experimental Park was set up in 2005. The park was designed in order to experimentally analyze and study the architectonic and working technologies, by rebuilding the houses and workshops from the Neolithic and Dacian period, under the “Archeology for the Community” program.
